Maintaining Your SCHLIESING Chipper

The longevity of your machine begins with maintenance

Maintaining a machine is crucial to optimize its lifespan. Schliesing chippers, like any other machines, require daily maintenance and periodic maintenance, that with schliesing machines are extriamly easy.

Daily Maintenance or Check:
As with any equipment, a daily check is recommended to prevent work interruptions related to daily use. A visual check of various liquid levels, blowing out the material from cooling radiator and air filter, and checking the cutting tools will allow you to start your job safely. Additionally, you ensure optimal use by reducing the risk of downtime and fuel overconsumption.

Periodic Maintenance:
Depending on the machine, maintenance may be recommended between 50 and 200 hours. This includes oil changes, filter replacements, sharpening of cutting tools, checking belt tension, ensuring the bearings and bushings are in good condition, and an overall inspection of the machine. Periodic maintenance of your machine is always explained in the user manual, but we must advise you to have your chipper maintained by our network of authorized and specially trained dealers to work on Schliesing machines.

To facilitate maintenance, we offer maintenance kits suitable for your chipper. These include complete engine filtration, hydraulic filtration, and 1 liter of oil to top up the hydraulic oil.
